Funding & Donations

Funding for the maintenance of this website, which includes the Nearctic Spider Database and the Nearctic Arachnologists' Forum is entirely out-of-pocket. However, The Canadian Arachnologist newsletter does receive some funding for production and distribution. The first and second issues of the newsletter was supported by The Biological Survey of Canada (Terrestrial Arthropods), the fourth issue by Walter Charles and the sixth and seventh issues by the Insectarium de Montreal. Like this website, remaining issues were funded out-of-pocket.
