I am just an amateur hobbyist who keeps an assortment of tarantulas and one trapdoor spider. All of my spiders are captive bred specimens. I am interested in arachnids and enthusiastcally volunteer to help and participate in collection of spiders and arachnids in Alberta or BC. I work throughout northern Alberta and occasionally in NE B.C. so if trained on the appropriate field collection methods would very happily like to take field collections for scientists. I'd love to go out on some field collection trips with the experts. I have no training as a biologist but I do have a Masters in Geology and could collect whatever data I could. I have a 4X4 diesel truck, a binocular microscope with digital camera attachment, GPS, Brunton compass, Theodolite (I don't know how to use it though), laptop computer and cell phone, and all necesary camping/hiking gear. I am an experienced hiker/camper. Hey guys. . .use me like a government mule LOL |
