Present Work: The role of dispersal in maintaining arboreal spider assemblages.
Past Work: Project in summer 2005 to determine 1) whether food availability to late instar females and to juveniles of Dolomedes triton affects propensity to balloon in instars 1-3, and 2) if the percentage of juveniles that balloon differs between first egg sacs of spiders collected from permanent vs. temporary ponds in Alberta, as predicted by patterns of food availability.

Project in summer 2004, carrying on work started by Alice Graham in her M.Sc., to discover the optimal windspeed, temperature, and age for ballooning in 1st instar juveniles of the fishing spider, Dolomedes triton.
