Syndicated Content

Unfamiliar with RSS (really simple syndication) or need convincing? Here's a primer on Wikipedia. In a nutshell, RSS feeds are akin to subscription-based email messages that allow you to keep tabs on changing web site content without having to visit the web site; your computer does the downloading in the background! Feeds can be collected and read using stand-alone, cross-platform readers such as BottomFeeder, browser-enabled readers like Google Reader, or via plug-ins such as Blogbot for Outlook. An extensive list of RSS readers, one of which will undoubtedly suit your needs, can be found HERE. Alternatively, many new browser versions have built-in feed readers (e.g. Internet Explorer 7 and FireFox 2).
