Natural History, Phenology & Image(s)

Feeding Guild:  sheet web builders

Recorded Habitats:  Under logs and stones in cool, sheltered places, deciduous woods, ground litter, stoney mountain slopes, retreats under slabs of rock.
Life & Natural History:  Cone-shaped space web often found attached to the undersides of rocks or other substrate which have a scooped-out cavity. One to three egg sacs can also be found. Food remains can be found in the vicinity of these webs and consist of springtails, small crickets and ants.
