General Comments: C. utahensis has a broader range than C. versicolor and the two are thought to produce infertile hybrids where they co-occur (e.g. southern Ontario and adjacent United States) (Dondale & Redner, 1978). The range of C. utahensis is Alaska to Labrador and Nova Scotia, southward to California, Mexico, and Florida.
