General Comments: The known range of this species is Alaska to Manitoba, southward to California and Oklahoma. It has also been collected in Europe. After Dondale & Redner (1978).

Description: Carapace spotted and streaked with brown. Median area is pale enclosing dark triangular spot toward posterior. There is usually a white 'V' anterior to dorsal groove. Legs are uniformly brown to red-brown. Abdomen brown-yellow with distinct heart mark (Dondale & Redner, 1978).
