General Comments: Adult P. alascensis closely resemble P. mysticus in colour, but differ on the basis of their male and female genitalia (Dondale & Redner, 1978).

Description: Carapace orange-brown, with median area mottled with yellow & lateral area streaked with black. Legs are orange-brown with yellow rings at the base of femora, with brown, longitudinal bands. Abdomen off-white to green/grey, dark heart mark, series of chevrons (Dondale & Redner, 1978).

Description: Carapace orange-brown, with median area mottled with yellow & lateral area streaked with black. Legs are orange-brown with yellow rings at the base of femora, with brown, longitudinal bands. Abdomen off-white to green/grey, dark heart mark, series of chevrons (Dondale & Redner, 1978).
