Feeding Guild:† (not yet recorded or unknown)
†Feeding guild when noted defined by Uetz, G. W., J. Halaj, and A. B. Cady. 1999. Guild structure of spiders in major crops. Journal of Arachnology 27:270-280. PDF
Habitat (published): Foliage of low-growing plants including cultivated crops, houses, leaf litter in moist forests.
Life & Natural History: Courtship consists of the male's drumming of the female's silken retreat with his legs and cutting the threads until he touches and entices her out of her retreat. Eggs sacs consist of dense layers of silk and are found in curled leaves or in the crotches formed between leaf petioles and stems. Females remain with eggs until hatching. Adults of both sexes collected April to November.
