Because of family and job constraints, the 2007 competition for the 2008 calendar unfortunately cannot be held. However, every attempt will be made to conduct the competition October 2008.- David Shorthouse (October 1, 2007)
Every year, a public upload event takes place for top arachnid images. Winners are chosen via online public vote and are featured in a stunning, high quality, 11" X 17" wall calendar. The photographer of the highest rated image receives a free calendar and two runner-ups choose a month on which they would like their image to appear. This competition is very popular and attracts arachnid enthusiasts all over the world.
Rules
- Maximum 3 submitted images per competitor
- Top 13 winning images must all be different arachnid species
- A lower ranking duplicate species will be bumped out and remaining images move up in rank until all 13 species are different
